As a nutrition coach, healthy lifestyle & wellness expert, two-time bestselling cookbook author, and someone who spent way too long having an all-or-nothing mentality with food, I’m all about figuring out ways to help you create and design the life you’re made for.

Because here’s the thing: what we eat directly affects how we show up in life—our feelings, thoughts, and emotions are crazy-connected to our food and our overall health … but there's just one problem.
No one’s talking about the full picture.
No one talks about how what you eat matters, but so does how you talk to yourself and how you take care of yourself overall: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Fifteen years ago, I had a terrible relationship to food. And to myself.
It had been like that for decades -- starting in middle school, worsening in high school, until it finally peaked in college. And the most ironic part? I had no idea it was going on.
I thought the way I was living (obsessing about food, obsessing about my workouts, trying every single diet, plan and tactic out there, missing out on the joy and beauty of food and its role in our life, etc). was all just normal.
Part of being a girl, and a woman (at least one who wanted to feel her best).
It look a trip to Italy to see how wound-up, anxious and void of joy I'd become. I started to look around me: at these beautiful, vibrant women, twirling their pasta, sipping their wine, and eating gelato. Fully present, and fully enjoying their lives.
That the thoughts in your head, emotions in your body affect how you digest & process your food.
And therefore how you FEEL. And operate in your daily life.
That you can eat as perfectly as you want to, but if your head and heart are obsessing over every bite, there is no way you're going to feel healthy.
That being ALL or NOTHING, isn't the answer (even though it's all our modern day culture teaches us).
But that LIVING YOUR LIFE, WITH MORE FREEDOM & JOY, is.
It's all about learning the balance: of good food, made simply.
It's easier, lighter and kinder on your body, and your mind when you approach your health in this way.
And it creates so much more clarity.
The ability to hear your intuition. And the ability to listen to what your body actually needs, wants, desires and adores.
